Theory Test NervesDon't take it before you're ready! Take advice from your driving instructor regarding when to sit your test. He/she has the knowledge and experience to advise when you are actually ready to take your test. There's nothing worse than sitting a test when you're not fully prepared for it. Being prepared gives you confidence. The early bird gets the worm! When you book your test, try and get a time early in the morning if you can. No caffeine! Caffeine can raise anxiety levels on certain people in unstressful situations nevermind on the day of your test. So give it a miss for one day. I hope I pass! VS I will pass! Try to think positvely. In my experience the people who think they will pass compared to the people who think they might pass, have a better chance of passing. So try to focus on how you will feel when you pass, not on the things you may do wrong. Keep revising! Take your highway code book or theory test book with you to the theory test centre and read it on the way there, even in the waiting room. Or just make sure you do some last minute revision on the day of your test. You never know, what you learn, might make the difference between a pass or a fail. Remember it's only a test and you can take it as many times as you want.
